Soul Spark: a course of prayer and spiritual growth; is an experiential course, offering the opportunity to pray, reflect, share & explore the spiritual life. This short course will run on Wednesday evenings from June: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, July 2nd finishing on July 9th from 7.30pm for just under 2 hours, Details at the back of Church.
The Harlton, Book of Remembrance; a new Book is on the altar in the south aisle of Harlton Church..If you have names of loved ones to be entered, please contact Jean Sayers,tel. 262584.
New Toilets in Haslingfield Church- the builders have started to convert the lower Tower area,which will take approx.the next 2 months to complete and we apologise for any inconvenience these works may cause.
The Tower at St Marys, Gt.Eversden has been Saved! We are pleased to announce that after a remarkable fund raising campaign and the generosity of many people and funds,that the major refurbishment of the Tower will begin on June 2nd.2008. We believe that disruption will be in the Tower area only.

A Little goes a Long way:Thank you to all who contributed to this years Christian Aid collection in all our Villages. In Haslingfield we raised an impressive £1,692. At All Saints Church on Sunday we will hear more of how we can share resources to change children’s’ lives in Kenya.
It is proposed to Establish a Twinning with a Parish in Nairobi,to help them build a Childrens Night Shelter and Sunday School. A link has developed out of contacts by Parents in our local school with a local Pastor working against the odds to establish a Church and Childrens welfare support project in a deprived part of the shanty suburb of Nairobi,Kenya-called The Mathare.
Thefts from our Churches:Sadly last Monday night 2 of our Churches had intruders and thefts, a third the attempt was foiled. Please be vigilant and ask our neighbours to be aware. Please pray for those involved.

OASIS our local Christian.holiday at home event for Seniors, will run from Tues 5th–Fri 7th Aug.2008 We will again join with Holy Trinity friends in providing this support this Summer. 1 In our Parish Villages: OASIS 4-8th August located at the Methodist Church;It will offer Christian fellowship in a relaxed ‘holiday’ setting. With a Christian core and ethos,to reach out to isolated Seniors in our Villages and provide them with a ‘holiday at home’. Encourage them to bring along friends. To use our contacts in our local villages to invite as many as possible,and to use it as an opportunuity to launch a Christian Faith Exploring group for Seniors in the Autumn. The overall theme this year will be Mountains.People take a rest on top of mountains to survey the World. It was on a mountain that many people in the Bible had life changing experiences. The spiritual sessions will focus on Mounts Sinai, Carmel, of Transfiguration and of Olives or Zion.Volunteers will provide refreshments,support and activities over 4 days for up to 50 Seniors.
2 In our City; a Christian Korean Cookery Club,to meet weekly in Cambridge,which will welcome the stranger by teaching English cooking offering relationship: friendship, discussion about our domestic culture and traditions,and preparing the ground for sharing the gospel.We will provide help on rent,but they need donation of cooking utensils and pots and pans and our prayers etc.Can you help...a basket is at the Church door? Thankyou!
